Restorative Swedish Massage

Deep relaxation for the body, stillness for the mind.

As high-functioning leaders, creatives, and individuals navigating change, we often carry the weight of our responsibilities in our physical bodies. Stress doesn't just vanish; it settles into our shoulders, our jaws, and our lower backs.

My massage offering is designed to be a sanctuary of rest. It is a space where you are invited to put down the mental load, stop "holding it all together," and allow your nervous system to fully decompress.

The Technique

I specialize in Swedish Massage, a modality renowned for its ability to calm the nervous system and improve circulation.

While the primary focus is relaxation, my approach is not superficial. I work intuitively into the various depths of muscle fibre, melting away knots and tension without the aggressive force often associated with deep tissue work. It is a firm, flowing, and rhythmic practice designed to guide your body back to a state of ease.

The Elements.

❋ The Pressure

Adjustable to your comfort. We can linger on tight spots or keep the flow moving, depending on what your body needs that day.

❋ The Oil

I use high-quality Sweet Almond Oil for its nourishing properties, allowing for smooth, fluid strokes that hydrate the skin. (Please let me know upon booking if you have a nut allergy so I can arrange an alternative).

Why Massage?

For the clients I work with, women, leaders, and the LGBTQIA+ community, safe, respectful touch is a powerful tool for reconnection.

  • For the busy mind: It provides a physiological break for your brain, helping to reduce cortisol and improve sleep.

  • For the creative: Releasing physical blockages often helps unclog mental blockages, allowing new ideas to flow.

  • For the body: It flushes toxins, improves flexibility, and eases the aches associated with desk work or emotional holding patterns.
